Christmas Events and Christmas Carols on the Sunshine Coast
A Christmas quote from the Mayor, Mark Jamieson …
“Each year, our Sunshine Coast Council proudly supports a wide range of festive season events that reflect the lifestyle, cultural values and diversity of our community…. Over the holiday season, I encourage you to get out and enjoy our region’s fantastic attractions, including our beaches and waterways, aquatic centres, art galleries and museums, parks and environmental reserves, walking and bike riding trails and all of the wonderful experiences that are right here on our doorstep”
(My Weekly Preview)
This week we are featuring many of the festive Christmas events that will be happening here on the Sunshine Coast. These events include street lighting displays and twilight markets, street parades and of course, appearances by Santa Claus himself. Christmas Carnivals and fireworks will also feature in the festivities.
Get into the spirit of Christmas by attending one of these events.
An integral part of the Sunshine Coast Christmas celebrations will of course be the many Christmas Carol singing events happening up and down the coast from Coolum Beach to Kings Beach.
